The anticipation of BaKon finding the ideal costume is beautifully portrayed by his twelve costume changes, impressively created by illustrator Leigh Ann Thompson. BaKon and his cat Midnight’s expressions are hilarious. I found every rhyme and scene enjoyable. There are some fantastic Halloween costume ideas and lots of laughs. Overall, Landreth and Thompson have created a Halloween “pork classic” that children will love.
