I love Has Anyone Seen My Left Sock? for many reasons. I love it because it encourages students to utilize their higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) like Shelly does to solve life's problems. Secondly, I hope this tale inspires students to write stories within their imagination, dreams, or heart like Shelly Green.
